After studying “Italian Language and Literature” specializing in translation at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands, Maartje started as a freelance translator in Italian, English and Dutch in September 2000.

Maartje lived in Singapore for six years, which influenced her in many ways. This, together with the fact that she also studied Business Administration, is very useful in her current profession as a sworn translator in Italian.

Maartje is a member of the Dutch Society of Interpreters and Translators (NGTV).

Maartje ha vissuto a Singapore per sei anni, un’esperienza che l’ha formata in molti aspetti. Questo, insieme al fatto che ha anche studiato Economia e Commercio, è stato utile nella sua professione attuale come traduttrice giurata in italiano.

Maartje è socia dell’Associazione olandese degli Interpreti e Traduttori (NGTV).
